Clarification on CX/AA awards in N. America

This may be in the wrong forum, but it seems that there's uncertainty and only one person has replied to my question on AB forum.

I finally saved 15k on AB/topbonus and would like to redeem it for a one-way N. America trip. Can someone on the AA forum give me guidance for the following:
1. Does topbonus still allow you a free stopover?
2. Can you book AA operated by AS metal flights? Can you also book AA and CX on the same PNR?
3. I am hoping to do CLE via JFK on AA via YVR on CX to SEA or PDX on AA/AS

or PDX/SEA on AA/AS via YVR-JFK on CX to CLE

or PHX - YVR on AA to JFK via CX to CLE on AA.

Sorry for the complicated questions. I miss CX (it's been since 2004 since my last CX flight) and I wouldn't mind doing the JFK-YVR on them.
