Are there may situations in which one is able to pay into F on a different time/route for a lower price than on the flatbeds? I haven't noticed but will look from here on out.

If OP wants to ride up front, probably SDC to a different flight. If it were me and I had a good comfort+ seat, I would just enjoy that.

I'm likely to remain where I am, given the extra 90 minutes sleep

. If C+ gets crowded and I'm feeling springy in the morning, I might head to the earlier flight, else I'm bound by a meeting time at my destination.
