I have had reservations before when my wife beat me to the hotel and I just called an left her name so she could check in. Don't see why you couldn't do that. They never knew whether or not I came. It's technically against the rules but considering your husband has spent a lot of money with Hilton I doubt they are gonna give you a problem.
