You got it, I was not referring to grandfathered spousal shared account that is no longer available. The poster obviously doesn't have one so it mentioning would just confuse things necessarily
I didn't realize they weren't available. Ironically, we had separate accounts and were FORCED to combine into one when we purchased their New York Hilton Club. I protested loudly and strongly, but we were not given any alternative. It has been a PITA at times and we switched to Marriott for the most part.
Our finances have been combined for our 39 years of marriage and we have separate accounts for anything we use to any degree.
