Do this footprint impact my interpretation on the RDM in "the PQD world?"

2The award miles accrued on codeshare flights are based on the operating carrier and their equivalent fare class. This could result in differences between the purchased booking class and the booking class flown, which determines the number of base and Premier qualifying miles and Premier qualifying segments earned.
In general, this is a giant "gotcha" you need to watch out for. But in this case, UA L should map to NZ L. As L is not an earning fare class, experiences vary whether you get your UA RDM by virtue of being on an 016 ticket. The way the rules are written, you should, but I was just reading a story of someone who was having issues getting credit for a trans-Tasman NZ flight.
