From personal experience, you may expect the INS inspector to know it is a replacement passport and to ask you about it. He will probably also ask an additional security question like your mother's maiden name. Only once in 8 years on a replacement passport (original was stolen and replaced in Paris where I live) have I encountered secondary screening, which was going to a room off to the side, having a supervisor pull up the record and ask a few more questions.
