I have never had my Qantas FF number magically added to my booking by qantas.com until this week. You can always remove your AA number during booking, but that means the itinerary no longer lists on your current bookings on aa.com. AA reservations staff can't put both numbers in simultaneously, even though their web staff can. Not having to make a separate phone call or email is really nice, especially during this final week before the AA devaluation.
