I have noticed that the clubs have been highly unpredictable over the past several months. Once at SFO they had a whole buffet out that seemed to be select things from the pay menu---a bunch of really nice vietnamese style dishes (curries, noodles, etc.). Then the next time I was there it was back to chicken salad and romain lettuce. Same inconstancy with LAX.
I really appreciate that they do this, but it is strange that at times there is really enough to make a meal out of, and at other times it is slim pickings.
I wondered if there was a possibility that it is timed for when there are a lot of D1 pax departing, but this would not be the case from LGA.
Maybe they are just trying to have rotating variety.
