Does anybody still use the old Chevy Impala? (The old model)
Hi all,
I'm going on a roadtrip with my family next week and we figured that we'd rent a bigger car so it's more comfortable. Also, practically anything gets better gas mileage than our 10 year old car.
I've reserved a full size car with Budget (in Toronto) and I'm wondering if any rental company still use the old Chevy Impala (the old model that was introduced in 2006).
I noticed that the reservation said Impala LTD or similar (LTD means the old model after a quick google search). I know I'm not 100% going to get an old Impala but in that case, I'd rather drive my own car because it for sure will get better mileage than an ageing 3.7L V6.
Also, what's the difference between a standard and Full-Size car? I read around and some people got a Camry/Malibu as a full size. But on Budget's website, they list a Sonata as standard. Aren't they all midsize cars? Shouldn't a full-size car be something like an Impala or Taurus?
Thanks!
