27 minutes is "legal". I was looking at itineraries recently and SEA-BOS-IND came up with a 27 or 28 minutes connection in BOS. I was tempted to book it for the MQMs until I saw the connection time. Not risking that one. Even if you arrive on time, you're still arriving after boarding has begun and by the time you get to the gate, boarding will be mostly complete, making finding OH space pretty difficult.
