Surely, I cannot be the only one reading Time Magazine. The answer is 185 pounds. Does anyone remember being asked to state his/her stated weight on a light plane, e.g. St. Thomas to St. Crois? I would be interested in other examples of weighing in for a flight and your guess is to how many reveal their honest weight.</font>
Flights between islands in Fiji and Tahiti (on Otters) weigh luggage and ask for pax weight.
As a pilot, it would never occur to me to lie about my weight. After all, it is my life on the line. If this thread leads me to believe that more than a nominal number of people don't reveal their true weight, I'm going to start adding five pounds to mine!
