If the OP is so offended that their MM threshold was not recognized in the same manner as this pax perhaps they should send a note to DL. Maybe you'll get some worthless SKyPesos.

OTOH, maybe it would be a worthwhile exercise to consider that this was likely not a company-approved activity but one provided by a flight crew that honestly wanted to demonstrate appreciation for the loyalty of the pax. It's kinda of like when the occasional FA leave a note on my seat tanking me for being a MM/DM. It's lovely, it makes me feel appreciated but it is not DL policy, it is the actions of a sincere and high-quality DL employee.
