I'm just curious to know how his status was known? Did they announce it?

I didn't find this post randomly...Mr 1-Million miler is a friend of mine and read this unhappy rant about him.

He's a Diamond Member

He flies domestic all the time (and lots of it)

And it took him about 7 years to get Million Miler status

When I got million-miler status with United, I got a letter in the mail. That's it. And I was happy to get it.

Delta made a business decision to reward someone who flies all the time with them (on good revenue tickets I'm guessing) and will probably get 1 million miles every 7 years or less. Why rain on Mr Million Miler's party? Take it up with Delta.
