It was in the wiki of the FL/AC improvement thread. It was not an official AA announcement. And you are right, there is no mention of it on the AA website. Only that starting next year both F
and J passengers on intl and LAX-JFX/MIA and SFO-JFK flights will have FL and OW Emerald/First lounge access. But even that is somewhat confusing. Does it apply to lounges outside the U.S. as well? For example, flying AA in J from HKG to LAX (and not OW Emerald).
