Yes, Flushing cash price at $450 a night! as its the second week of the US Tennis Open that week.

I stayed there two years ago just after it opened when attending the US Open finals but paid with cash and points and can't actually remember paying taxes, maybe a small $3.50 a night occupancy tax

Only reason in my experiences and preferences to stay again is because we can get three in the room 2 doubles and a sofa bed, free OK breakfast and one subway stop to the tennis. Plus used all my points at the Times Square one last year!

If you booked a cash & Points rates last year, then you would have definitely paid taxes. You pay taxes on the cash portion but not the points.
