mia already answered, no,
not at all with Chase.
But it does work pretty similarly with Citi, and I haven't heard complaints about BofA being difficult about it (though I haven't tried for a BofA business card myself yet so don't have first-hand knowledge of their business card application process like I do with Citi and Amex).
