What puzzles me is why, with all these renovations underway, United is ignoring the trend of installing true premium economy seats on its widebody fleet. AF, BA, and LH have them, and AA and DL will in the near future. While most passengers might be content with a 17" minimally padded seat, a few rows of better seating would sell.
