From today's
G&M:
" ...industry sources indicated that the basic result of the complex deal is that all the 50- and 74-seat Bombardier regional jets Air Canada already owns or is buying will ultimately end up at Jazz, while the 93-seat Embraer 190 jets it has ordered from Brazil's Embraer SA will go to the mainline.
This means that Jazz's approximately 1,100 active pilots have won the right to fly all aircraft with up to 75 seats, up from the previous limit of 55 seats, the result of Air Canada's agreements with its pilots."
