I applied online on the 8th, since I already have GE (and my information changed minimally) I'm hoping for a quick turnaround.
I applied online in January, got my conditional approval in about 10 days, and just had my interview Monday (I could have done it sooner by looking around various processing centers) and am waiting for the card itself. I also had Global Entry. The US "interview" took about 30 seconds. It was just the guy saying I had been approved for Nexus and asking me if I had been using Global Entry. I said I hadn't, so he showed me how to use it at a land crossing and assured me I could use the Nexus line to get back into the US even without Nexus.
The Canadian part of the interview took a few minutes longer since they explained all the goofy things they don't allow through the Nexus line, and because I mentioned I might be traveling to Canada for business. (As soon as you mention the B word to CBSA, they get all worked up toward Americans). However, he didn't block my approval since I said (truthfully) that I was aware of work permit requirements and didn't have any pending work in process that might require a permit.
