We actually had award tickets for our return. They had taxes of ~$30/ticket, so it sounds like it might be included in yours. I also double-checked when we landed in LIR by going to an agent and asking them to confirm that the tax was included. You could likely do the same upon your US departure or when you land in Costa Rica.
