Being based in BOS I certainly wouldn't want to stomach six hours on a DL 73H then connect to a 332 to fly to HKG when I can take CX non-stop and enjoy their truly industry leading IFE and excellent in-flight service. Same story vis a vis JL or HU. Sure the tone of the marketing propaganda they sent was for BOS-SEA O&D but they're operating this to feed their international flights at SEA and try to poach some BOS-based traffic off all the new non-stop international flights we have on truly world-class industry leading airlines like CX, HU, JL, etc.
^ The nonstops or UA via SFO would be better options. If you must fly with a domestic carrier then UA is much better situated to offer a premium experience to TPAC passengers. DL at SEA is simply no comparison to the presence that UA has at SFO.
