We were there two weeks ago. I am not sure if anyone's described the hotel layout but here goes. There are two towers (buildings) in the hotel. Both have rooms on 4 stories. The tower with the lobby has ocean view and golf course view rooms. Far as I could tell, the ocean view rooms in this tower have an un-obstructed view. We were given 443 (i think), which was on the tower away from the lobby. Our room was on the top floor of our tower which actually was one floor below the lobby. So our room was two floors lower than the lowest room of the first tower. This tower has ocean view rooms only. We had trees right in front of our room so we did not have a clear view of the ocean. While the room was great, the view was not.
Great hotel but after spending a day there, with two little kids, we felt we would prefer a more family friendly resort and moved to the Waikoloa Marriott.
