Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I had a look round and this seemed the most appropriate.

I recently booked an open jaw return in Economy with Vietnam Airlines as follows:

Thurs 17 March - LHR - HAN
Weds 30 March - SGN - LHR

I noticed something strange on my confirmation email. For the return flight it says "Class: Economy", however, on the outbound flight it says "Class: Special Class". Does anyone know what this is or what it means?

I tried searching Google but couldn't find anything conclusive. I did have a bit of a nightmare with Vietnam Airlines when booking it (they cancelled our originally booked return flight and moved us onto a different one), so I wonder (probably in blind hope more than anything!!!) whether Special Class means we might be on some sort of upgrade list by way of compensation?!

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
