EWR and JFK should take pretty much equal time to get to and from. Car service from either is probably $45-$60, and definitely the easiest way to go.

For business, I've taken a helicopter from the East Side of Manhattan, around Battery Park, past the Statue of Liberty and down to a small airport in northern New Jersey. Even though it was just a "commuter" flight, the trip was awesome.

The hotel's gonna be tough, I think. Any 2-bedroom suite in midtown would be . . . um . . . prohibitive for somebody like me - dunno if your friend is loaded. How about two connecting rooms?

No Neiman Marcus in NYC, BTW. Maybe you're thinking Bergdorf Goodman or Barney's?
