Hi. I'm the worst. A reformed smoker, we are always so smug and self-righteous about our past "crimes". I am truly glad that smoking on airplanes is no longer allowed, but I think that on the ground there should be areas where smokers could go where they are not made to feel that they are contagious with leprosy. I am also persuaded that a lot of people are still very scared of flying and I would rather give them somewhere to smoke, assuming that it calms them. I also harbour the suspicion that osme of the "plane" rage is due to nicotine addiction. It is a shame that the airlines do not have the capability to create an area where the ventilation is such that smokers can go and indulge without inconveniencing others. It is a shame that the Air France experiment failed.
