AA flt 2 LAX-JFK on Feb 26: sticker upgrade cleared at T-36. I am so used to not being upgraded until the last second, if at all (upgrade in January was a battlefield one) that I didn't even look until it was too late to order a meal.

AA flt 3 JFK-LAX on March 1: sticker upgrade cleared at T-4. FEBO was in effect so I placed my order first.

Both times there were seats left after I, a lowly Platinum, cleared. Perhaps it's just that winter is slow, but January was the first time I've been upgraded on stickers on that route since the A321T replaced my beloved 767.
