iOS app shows seat assignments for reward flight - normal?
I called Air Canada and Aeroplan. I got shown the peasant exit door.

Your generosity is a welcome sight to my no-status eyes, but this was for a flight earlier in the year. I've moved on (but still on the other side of the tracks).
