Are you saying that you just paid the USD300 change penalty and you got changed to a ticket to SVO with a stopover in CDG (stop of more than 24hrs)?
Thanks for the clarification on "stopover". No, this would be considered "transit". A true stopover is not allowed on either the BEY or SVO fares. But it was possible to have 23.5 hours of transit with no additional fee.
