iOS app shows seat assignments for reward flight - normal?
Hi there,
I have an upcoming market reward flight with my family, and since the plane looks half-empty I didn't bother paying another $200 for advance seat selection (it's a Q400 so not taking a big risk).
However, when I added the booking to the iOS app it shows that we have seats properly grouped together - can't tell who is where because the app only lets you work with bookings of <=4, but the seats are listed. The seat map also shows the seats blocked off.
Is this a (good) glitch in the system? Are hidden seat assignments always made, or is it just because we are flying with kids? Or, are the seats not actually assigned and the app is misbehaving?
Thanks!
