Apart from Radisson Blu properties in Europe, you really don't want to be staying at CC hotels, even if they end up free from credit card spend. At 5 points per $, It's still a lot of spend to get the 70K for a free night at one of the few decent CC properties. The sign up bonus would get you one free night - not competitive with other cards/chains.
Put that spend on a different card and stay at nicer hotels (Hyatt, SPG, etc.).
