If you're looking for an adventure, consider staying at capsule hotel the previous evening. There's one in the building as the parking structure for T2 called 9h Narita that I stayed at last year. It's 3900 yen for one night if you book in advance.

You can probably snag a regular room for not much more, but for me it was a fantastic experience—gorgeously designed, super clean, and with a kind of efficiency and thoughtfulness that makes me giddy inside.
