Quite a few segments in the us this year on aa, the tatl segments are based on whatever the ex-eu prices up - typically ba lhr-mia a380 is the outbound option recently. Used to be the 747 and never the a380 - but haven't found cheap ex-dubs with an overnight in lhr to get the early 747 in a few months now; or aa's 77w (no option for a while); and then generally always aa mia-lhr, the 77w consistently pops up as the only option on that return leg from mia on the cheap pricing. Works for me! I'd take the a330 via phl to gcm if i could but usually doesn't price right; and edi to jfk then mia/gcm that i would take, rubbish 757 or not, always prices up in the 10k range. So, eh, no. If it was cheaper i'd never be on ba metal.
