The truck crossing (Douglas-Blaine) can be very bad at times. And it's only 2 km from the Peace Arch crossing. Further east is Huntington-Sumas (exit Meridian/Guide Meridian at Bellingham on WA 541(?) but traffic is pretty slow. Abbotsford is supposed to be good.
