I had to visit a customer in Plattsburgh New York...which is very up-state. I flew into Montreal for convenience. Going into the US they asked how long I'd been in CA. Told them about an hour and the reason why...no surprise or further questions. Returning approximately the same story in reverse. Only item of note is that this was pre 911.
