So, I did post on this question awhile back, but I wanted to update my feedback.

As a rule of thumb, I'm not as impressed with either resort as I once was. Both are very nice experiences but feel a tad Disney-fied for my likings.

That said, if I had to pick, I'd take Qasr.

Frankly, I'd rather drive 2 hours from DXB to Six Senses Zighy Bay (Oman) than stay at either Qasr or Maha.
