AMEX closed my account [returned payment], please help!...
Hi All,
I had an AMEX Business Gold card for about 10 months and everything was great until an auto payment got returned. They tried to withdraw the payment again from my account again and the next day I had enough funds for the full payment. My card wasnt working so when I called them to tell them the funds have already cleared my bank, my account manager told me that my account is not being closed.
Is this a common thing? Does AMEX just close your account if you missed a payment by 2 days? Is there anything I can do?
