So I'm thinking I can book an award for the lowest cost say a day before, and hope for a delay (Say book a normally delayed flight) When its delayed predeparture, use the delay to rebook an ideal flight on the web site..

My idea come because once I was in OGG.. Had a delay on OGG-SFO in paid F.. Just a few minutes, but was able to Rebook OGG-HNL-SFO with a night in HNL to party a little All in F of course. Was a great use of the delay.
