Just out of curiosity, what was his response? When I was there, I found him to be quite engaged with the guests on a regular basis.
I wrote him a note after and he was very apologetic. However, during our stay we spoke with our butler about this who was amazing. He moved us to a different room--a larger suite that was fabulous but also had a connecting door (as I said all suites do aside from the top level presidential or whatever they call it). He then had engineering put foam between the doors. This was amazing customer service though sadly it did little to solve the problem. They will need to do some construction to fix this and I hope they do.
