Hotel stays and car rentals, at the base 600, any promotional bonus points not being CP-qualifying.

Rocketmiles hotel stays appear to qualify, not sure if it was fully established in a recent discussion. Also whether it's the base 1000 for those stays or the bonuses they might have.

I'm considering using the current Choice Hotels promotion: two stays getting 8000 Choice points (need to be banked to earn them rather than RR), 6000 of them converting to 1800 RR CPQP. I understand the conversion needs to be requested by phone now: any indication on how quickly they convert?
