What's happening with BWI?

Several pax complained about dirty/worn seats and faulty (as well as old/inferior) IFE on today's BA229 to BWI. While we were waiting to exit, senior crew member mentioned that the 767s were due to be pulled from this route in a couple of week's time. I asked what they would be replaced by - 787 perhaps? She thought it was more likely to be a 777 (I'm guessing a 3-class variant, since there has (never?) been an F cabin on this route).

Has anyone spotted a change of equipment for BA229/228 in the weeks/months ahead?

767s have been plying the BWI route for as long as I can remember, and (for all their faults) I'll be sorry to see them go. The 2-3-2 seating in Y has always been a plus point for me - although I'm lucky enough to (mostly) fly nearer the front these days.
