SIN-CTU-SFO is interesting. I assume CTU-SFO was on CA? Our experiences on CA IAH-PEK F was one of the worst experiences we had - they did not load F foods even only 2 of us in the whole cabin. The FA told us not to bother with the menu as none would be available. She gave us 3 or 4 main dishes to choose from and only one option had 2, the others only had 1! I honestly suspected they were skimmed from J. Barely edible. Cheap wines. There were good reasons why CA seats were still available towards the bitter end of the predevaluation. lol.
Yup, multi-city and everything priced out online. I was shocked when it went through.
SIN-CTU was CA and we were in domestic F. Crew was very nice, but the seat was crap. Food was decent too. We were on the first week of the new route and CTU had just gotten the 72 hour transit visa deal. Except nobody working there got the memo. Nobody spoke a word of English, and luckily our F FA quasi-translated for us. We never did get a transit visa (which shouldn't have mattered anyways since we were connecting to SFO) but we only got 1 stamp for "entering" and "leaving" China. The *A Biz lounge was surprisingly good for a Chinese lounge. Lots of hot food and drinks.
CTU-SFO was actually UA on their new 787 with the new lie flat J. The seat was wonderful, and the crew serving my aisle was great. The crew on my wife's aisle was terrible. Luckily mine were so awesome that they'd bring her stuff too.
