DL's numbers have been solid for a couple of years now. Not just because of solid pricing of F, not just because DL gives away fewer freebies to F, not just because it prices awards dynamically and so on, but because the entire market has changed.

It pays a great deal of attention to large corporate contracts, to a few HVC's and to some key routes. The rest just need to break even. C+ gives it that middle ground as a place for Medallion UG's and people who will pay a bit extra. It will lose a few people to AA/UA and some folks from UA/AA will jump ship too.

But, given the lack of real choice for many, the system is working out for most.
