Apologies, I'm pretty sure this has been answered before but I want to be sure.

I fly reasonably regularly from the UK to Oz and looking to mix it up a bit rather than just QF, CX & BA options.

If I book a trip (in economy) where I have QF flight numbers but operated by EK will I definitely get my OWE benefits such as additional baggage and access to the EK lounges in Heathrow and Dubai?

I'm BAEC Gold.

I only ask this question again because I remember being turned away from said lounges a couple of years ago where I thought I would be allowed access. I have no problem on QF metal where the policy is very clear but what if EK metal?
