I think this all points to an unnecessary complexity which creates doubt and confusion--is that what AC really wants to do. More uncertainty creates either more work in chasing down appropriate crediting (for flyer and AC) or abandonment altogether.
Most of mine have been posting semi "orderly" with AQM typically posting first and AQD later for my flight passes. Recently on regular paid ticket, this reversed with AQD posting then AQM a day later. Now on a flight change on this ticket, I find one segment posted (the changed flight), first as AQD then as AQM but the connecting segment (unchanged flight) the AQM posted but not the AQD. Headscratcher. Will give it a day or two for the "missing" AQD to post but I have only uncertainty. I am sort of confident that it will post but then again, when changes are made, crap happens with AC's IT.
On another note--how have unlimited flight passes been posting--any experiences (maybe I missed them up thread)?
