It might be possible but if this is your first time in BCN, it will be stressful and requires you to know exactly where to get the bus from.
Firstly the airport is large and it is a very long hike/run from the plane to immigration - should take 10 mins at speed, longer if you stroll. It will be dependant on if another plane landed before BA. Often, BA is the only plane there and I am through immigration in 1 min having arrived in business class and brisk walking to keep ahead of the other passengers from the plane. However, it can take forever if there is a queue of passengers with foreign passports to clear; even worse if you are behind a plane arriving from Africa where every passport is scrutinised in detail.
If you have an EU passport with a chip, there are e-gates at the very far end.
It should take a couple of minutes to take the escalator down and walk out of the luggage customs area.
The final issue I cannot comment on is where the bus will be be. Normally I have to do down one more level to ground level to reach road level where I arrange for a car/taxi to pick me up.
Please check if your bus is at Terminal 2 or Terminal 1. BA and other major airlines use Terminal 1. Low cost airlines use Terminal 2. Terminal 2 is where the train station is base. The only way between both terminals is by shuttle bus.
