I've had a similar experience with leaving headphones on a domestic flight. I just called the 0800 737 000 and they completed the appropriate phone for me. Within an hour I'd got a phone message saying that they had been found and how I could collect them at the airport (I was flying again a few hours later). It all worked very smoothly although I'm a bit more careful now.
