We arrived into the arrivals hall around 9pm local time to a hoard, yes a HOARD, of aggressive taxi drivers. These guys will literally follow you around 3,4,5,6 drivers at a time pulling at your arms "Taxi, Taxi, good Price, taxi, yes Taxi"....
We had reserved an Uber, but don't tell that to the locals because that will make them all the more aggressive. Our first Uber drive was actually chased away by a swarm of taxi drivers. Our Second driver was much more discrete and we where able to escape the zoo that is DPS. We spent a total of 3 days in Kuta, exploring Legian, Popies 2 & Pantai Kuta (The main beach drive). The shop owners are less aggressive than the airport taxis but after a day of walking around get to be just as irritating. We spent half of our time lounging in or around the hotels pool which was a much more relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel is located on JL Benessari which is a very narrow street approx 15min walk from the Sheraton. The ride of the Airport to the Hotel with Uber is Aprox 35,000IDR. Upon check in there are always bell boys available to help with your bags, and you will also be greeted with cold towels and ice pops by the bar staff. Check-in was fantastic and we where quickly escorted to our room on the 2nd floor. We where upgraded to a king size suite which is a HUGE room. Overall the staff is excellent and very friendly, the platinum breakfast in the main restaurant is exceptional, and the hotel while on a small narrow street is very centralized so walking to the beach front or to Legian is very easy. The hotel also runs a golf cart shuttle to the Sheraton several times a day (attached to the Sheraton is the mall).
The hotel exceeded all of my expectations, and offers everything needed for a great stay. There is 2 laundry shops located within 30 seconds walk, 2 convenience stores to grab your Bitang for cheap pool side drinking, and offers a host of restaurants in and around the hotel. Would definitely recommend the Four Points to anyone staying in Kuta.
