At least they can try it on one or two routes.
My opinion is that most Economy customers who choose ME3 over KL do so on the basis of the price (without considering Eco Comfort), and are not even aware of potential differences in seat pitch. Therefore I don't think KL would be more competitive with offering 33 inch seats.
