I've had excellent experiences at both properties. However, I found the design of the rooms at the JK Place very interesting and far from being standard.
At Portrait, my room could have been anywhere in Europe whereas at JK Place, the colors in the room were truly lovely (exactly this room - called Master Room).




Services at both places were good, without being exceptional. The concierge at JK however managed to get me a table at my favorite restaurant even though it was for the following day and it's always packed.

You can't go wrong with any of these but I'd opt for the JK Place
