I wonder if Greece in general and the Islands in particular are the best places to visit given the problem of the irregular migrants who are trying to cross from Turkey and who are squatting the Islands and Athens?

Already certain border crossings within the Schengen space (Brenner, Salzburg) or train stations (Milan) may be less than pleasant places this summer.

I will definitely avoid the whole eastern part of Europe including Austria for the time being. Sad for the Salzburg Festival, but had some very unpleasant encounters there last summer.
